“The Veteran”

Tom Gallo’s most recent addition to his already rich and historically accurate artworks of the U.S. military’s most historic figures is, “The Veteran.”  The Veteran depicts a combat ready soldier, vigilantly on duty in Iraq, surrounded by a detailed map of Iraq and neighboring countries. Each of the military’s branches is represented by way of various insignia and medals associate with “Operation Iraqi Freedom.”  The Veteran is also includes an emphatic statement declaring the that freedoms experienced by all who live in the United States is due to the sacrifice and service of “The Veteran.”  “The Veteran” is an open edition print, signed by Tom Gallo.

“The Veteran” can be purchased as a print for $25.00 (+$10.00 for shipping) or matted and frames as shown for $135.00 (+$29.00 for shipping). 

Note:  10% of the proceeds from the sale of “The Veteran” will go to support the efforts of “Iraq War Veterans Organization” (www.iraqwarveterans.org) and (Organization Helping Heal, Inc. (www.helpingheal.org).  These organizations serve not only in the capacity of financial support for the returning Veterans but also as advocates regarding benefits related to the unique circumstances surrounding the type of discharge granted to numerous veterans.
